Loraine B. Eschbach,90, of Lakeshore Drive, Pennsburg, died December 27, 2008 at home. She was the widow of Clarence F. Eschbach Sr. Born in Palm, PA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Sarah (Schantz) Schultz. She was employed by Food Services at the Perkiomen School for several years before retiring. Prior to that, she was a salesperson for Stanley Home Products and worked in various factories in the Upper Perkiomen area. She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ, East Greenville, and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post #184, Palm. Surviving is a son, Clarence, Jr., and his wife Lorraine, of Bethel, PA; daughters; Alice, wife of Warren Long, of Pennsburg; and Jane Eschbach Riback, of New York City; a sister, Doris Nagel, of Pottstown; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a son, Bruce, an infant twin daughter of Alice, and brothers, Laverne, Linwood and Lowell. Services will be on Wednesday at 11 AM at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville. A viewing will be on Tuesday from 6:30-8PM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, and from 10-11 AM on Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
