Linwood H. Genszler, 96, of Frederick Living, and formerly of East Greenville, passed away September 3, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Mildred M. (Styer) Genszler. The were married 72 years, this past October. Born in Red Hill, he was a son of the late Henry and Edna (Moll) Genszler. Linny was a realtor for Lechner & Stauffer in Pennsburg for 25 years, before retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Red Hill, where he was past secretary of the Church Council and the past Superintendent of the Sunday School, as well as a member of the Cemetery Committee and a 50 year member of the choir.. Linny was a charter member of the Upper Perkiomen Lions Club, and received the Melvin Jones Fellow Award for his work as a Lion. He was a member of the Perkiomen Chapter #595, F&AM, Red Hill, as well as of the Lehigh Consistory, Allentown, and the Rajah Shrine, Reading. Surviving with his wife, are children: Rev. Dr. David Genszler, of Cleveland Heights, OH; Richard Genszler, of Pittsburgh, PA; and Mary, wife of Terry Stoudt, of Red Hill; a Sister: Anna, wife of William Mensch, of Frederick Living; 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Services will be on Wednesday, at 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Red Hill. A viewing will be from 9:30 to 10:15 AM at the church.
