Linda Christine Cabrera

Linda C. (deLeon) Cabrera, 75, of Lower Saucon Township, passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on September 27, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert “Bobby” Cabrera who predeceased her by two weeks. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Ezequiel and Clotilde (Padilla) deLeon. Linda graduated from Hellertown High School and worked at St. Luke’s Hospital as an Accounts Payable Representative until her retirement. She was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church in Hellertown.

She is survived by her daughters, Carisa, wife of Daniel Caracio of Bethlehem, and Monica Cabrera of Hellertown; her granddaughters: Abby Caracio-Feindt and her husband, Cole of Baltimore, MD, Alexis Reightler of Allentown, and Madison Reightler of Bethlehem; and her siblings: Lillie Urogi, Dolores Gyurom, and Rita Placotaris. She was predeceased by her siblings: Esther Palos, Carmen Cambiotti, and Consuelo Bruno.

Linda was a warm hearted soul who instilled the importance of family in her loved ones. Her children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. Her motto was friends will come and go, but family is forever. She was passionate and interested in all cultures. She enjoyed listening to mariachi music, polka music and dancing corridos with her husband. Linda poured her love into the food she prepared for her family. One of her favorite occasions was the Christmas holiday when the family looked forward to her traditional Mexican cuisine which included tostadas and enchiladas. All were welcome to the original family homestead.

All are invited to a viewing from 5 to 7 pm on Sunday and 8:30 to 9:30 am on Monday at the Falk Funeral Homes, 1418 Main St, Hellertown, PA 18055. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Monday at St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church in Hellertown. She will be laid to rest in Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
