Lillian Shupe

Lillian R. “Tootie” Shupe, 96, of Frederick Living, died March 13, 2015. She was the widow of the late George B. Shupe. Born in Green Lane, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Florence (Kline) Hunsberger. She retired from the former Green Lane Hosiery Mill. Tootie was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sumneytown, and a member of the Perkiomen Chapter 318 of Eastern Star. She is survived by her children: Jack and his wife Pat of Harleysville, Jayne, wife of Mark Walker of Barto and Joy Benfield of Macungie; grandchildren: Todd, Dale and Brian; step grandchildren: Vickie, Julie, Cherie, Tracey & Kevin; great grandchildren: Alexis and Kayla. She was predeceased by sons George and James, and by her 11 siblings. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
