Leroy Stephens

LeRoy “Roy” A. Stephens, 81, of Leithsville, entered eternal rest on May 27, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Doris (LeComte) Stephens. They were married over 60 years. Born in Hellertown, he was a son of the late John and Ella (Siegfried) Stephens. Roy worked for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. in the central tool department for over 40 years. During that time he was a Union Local #2598 shop steward. He also owned and operated “Stephens Garage” in Leithsville. He was of the Lutheran faith. He was also a life member of the Moose Lodge in Quakertown. Survivors: wife; sisters, Evelyn Ryan, Dolores Hassick, Doris Holley, Florence Sharer; and many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by brothers John and Charles, and a sister Alice. Services: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main St., Hellertown.
