Leroy Fretz Sr.

Leroy A. Fretz Sr., 95, of Hereford, passed away January 25, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Lottie (Anthony) Fretz. Born in Lansdale, he was a son of the late Leroy and Sally (Klesinger) Fretz. Leroy was a foreman of the welding department of the former Gasboy Co., Lansdale. He was a singer, as well as an organ & guitar player; and had his own band called "The Denims". He was a God fearing man and prayed everyday. Surviving with his wife, is a son, Leroy Fretz Jr; Step-children: Patton Anthony, of Mechanicsburg; Evelyn Chmielewski, of Pennsburg; and Gwendolyn McGilloway, of Lansdale; 6 grandchildren: Leroy III, Bradley, Conor, Tiffany, Kirk Jr., and Amber; 3 great-grandchildren: Dakota, Isabella, and Mackenzie; and a niece, Linda Colon, of Hatfield. He was pre-deceased by a son Kirk Sr; and sisters: Pauline Gloriso & Rose Sheetz. Services will be at 11 AM on Thursday at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg.
