Leroy Roger Bernhart

Leroy R. Bernhart, 69, of Perkiomenville, passed away August 23, 2013 at home surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Kathryn (Reiman) Bernhart. The couple was married 50 years this past February. Born in Perkiomenville, he was a son of the late Paul and Eleanor (Snyder) Bernhart. Leroy was a truck driver for many years for Lehigh Valley Farms. He then worked in the shipping department at T.J. Cope, Collegeville. Before retiring, he worked at Associated Truck Parts, Gilbertsville. Leroy was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ, Sumneytown for over 50 years. He enjoyed gardening, computers, and his grandchildren.

Surviving with his wife, are sons: Carl, and his wife, Lisa, of Pennsburg; Dale, and his companion, Jenna, of Bechtelsville; Bill, of Rehoboth Beach, DE; and Craig, and his wife, Marta, of Souderton; sisters: Ethel Foskey and JoAnn Foskey, both of Dearing, GA; and 9 grandchildren: Jared, Luis, Marcella, Carly, Suevelyn, Kelsey, Benjamin, Daniel, and Brady; and nieces & nephews. He was pre-deceased by a sister, Dorothy Moore.

Memorial Services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday at Friedens United Church of Christ, 1011 Church Road, Sumneytown. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
