Red Hill

Larry Reber, 70, of Red Hill, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at his residence. He was the husband of Lisa (White) Reber. He was born in Philadelphia on October 20, 1955 to the late Lawrence Allen, Sr. and Lauretta Grace (Richardson) Reber. Larry was a graduate of North Penn High School, Lansdale, Class of 1973, and continued his education at Muhlenberg College, where he earned his Bachelor's Degree in 1978. Throughout his life, he built a successful career as the owner and operator of his own machine repair business, Eastern Precision Machine where his expertise and dedication left a lasting impact on his community. He had a passion for his work, often alongside his beloved wife, Lisa. Their partnership extended beyond their marriage; Larry affectionately referred to Lisa as his "nurse," while she lovingly called him "the Doctor," as they collaborated on fixing machines in their shared endeavors. They were also former owners of Bahr's Mill in Boyertown, where they restored and created a nonprofit corporation for the museum.

From a young age, Larry nurtured a passion for collecting toy trains and operating "N" scale model trains, which became a lifelong hobby he cherished. He was also an avid stamp collector and enjoyed building and operating remote-controlled boats. A skilled woodworker, Larry took great pride in crafting his own kitchen, reflecting his creative spirit and hands-on approach to life.

Survivors: In addition of his loving wife of 47 years; sisters: Linda and her husband John Phander of Thomas River, NJ, Lauretta Parmelee of Buffalo, NY; several nieces & nephews.
