Laurie Anne Nowakowski

Laurie Anne Nowakowski, of Pennsburg, left us peacefully on September 28, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on January 27, 1958, Laurie was a dearly beloved mother, fiancé and daughter whose vibrant spirit, passion for helping others and love for life touched all those around her.

A long time EMT, Laurie worked for several local ambulance and fire companies. She will be remembered fondly for her passion for gardening, her adventurous spirit evident in her love for snowmobiling, camping, and fishing. Laurie loved going to the beaches of Delaware, spending time in the sunshine, and working on projects at her home. These hobbies brought her immense joy and created lasting memories for her family and friends.

Laurie is survived by her devoted fiancé, Dale Shupe; her cherished daughter, Stephanie Kavedzic (née Marsh) and her husband Jassen Kavedzic; granddaughter Avana Kavedzic. She was predeceased by her father John Scheip and mother Anne Scheip.

Services will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Laurie's name to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
