Larry Wentz

Larry J. Wentz, 68, of Fruitville Road, East Greenville, died March 29, 2009 at home. He was the husband of Beverly A. (Mudd) Wentz. Born in West Rockhill Township, he was the son of John S. and Verna Mae (Kemmerer) Wentz, of Palm. He attended Penn State, and was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of the American Highland Cattle Association, and the PA Farmers Association; the Rail Lake Club, Quebec; and the Snake Hill Hunting Club, Pike County. He especially enjoyed playing poker with his friends. Surviving with his wife and parents: a son, Kain Wentz, his wife, Terral, and their children, Cheyenne and Landon, who reside in East Greenville; a sister, Linda, wife of Michael Lorranger, of Ontario, Canada; Step-children: Sherri, wife of Christopher Weber, of Pennsburg; Julie, wife of Jason Heffentrager, of Barto; Thomas Mudd, of East Greenville; Ria, wife of Gar Spencer, of Florida; Monika, wife of Bob McCall, of Virginia; and Erik Rothenberger, of Wellsboro, PA; and 7 step-granchildren. A celebration of life will be on Friday at 4 PM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. Friends may call from 2-4 PM.
