Larry G. Kercsmar

Larry G. Kercsmar, 72, of Bethlehem, passed on Sunday, February 13, 2022 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Bethlehem to Stephen Kercsmar and Margaret Bock (Unger), and he spent his adult life in the Freemansburg and Bethlehem areas. Larry is survived by his children, Stacey Kozlowski and her partner John Gallop and Chris Kercsmar and his wife Amy. He was proudly called Pop Pop and Pop Kerchie by his four cherished grandchildren, Dylan Kozlowski, Jacob Kozlowski, Cassidy Kercsmar, and Jessica Kercsmar. Larry was predeceased by his parents and two brothers, Daniel S. Kercsmar and Stephen Kercsmar. Larry will be remembered by his family and lifelong friends, including Donald “Redbird” Krajczar, a friend since Freemansburg Elementary School, for the pride he had for his children and grandchildren and the example he set with hard work and his careful attention to detail. Even in idle times, Larry often worked crossword puzzles and cryptoquotes, and he was an avid "Jeopardy" fan. A celebration of Larry’s life will be announced and held at a later date.
