Lamar R. Moyer, 83, of Spring Valley Village in Bechtelsville passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17th, 2025. Born in Souderton, he was a son of the late Franklin and Sara (Rice) Moyer. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Hendricks) Moyer. Lamar retired from Blooming Glen Contractors where he worked as a truck driver for 20 years. Prior to that, he drove for Hatfield Packing.
Along with his wife, Lamar is survived by his children: Brian Moyer and his wife, Dorothy of Florida, Joy Cassel and her husband, Mel of Telford, Donna Moyer of Easton, Vicki Garges and her husband, Rich of Perkasie, and Amy Smith and Dave Snyder of Northampton; his grandchildren: Harley, Brad, Beth, Daniel, Marcus, Jeremy, Ray, Chris, Matt, Frank, Alicia, and Jordan; seventeen great-grandchildren; and his siblings: Charles W. Moyer DDS of Winchester, VA, James L. Moyer and his wife Irene of Highlands Ranch, CO. H. David Moyer and his wife Myrna of Telford, Susan M. Moyer MD, and her husband, J. Lamar Freed of Elkins Park, PA, and V. Dean Moyer and his wife, Jean of Telford. He was predeceased by his brother, Rich in 2024 and his son-in-law, Mike Smith in 2006.
All are invited to a viewing from 9:30 - 11 am with a service to follow at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA 18073.
