Keith W. Overberg, 66, of Perkasie, passed away March 1, 2013 with his children by his side. He was the widower of Jenifer Bolton. Born in Gloucester, MA, he was a son of the late Raymond and Esther (McKenzie) Overberg. Keith was a 1964 graduate of Beverly High School. He served his country honorably in the Navy aboard the SS Becuna from 1966-9. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing. Keith's true passion was aviation, and was well known as an exceptional flight instructor. From 1995 until becoming ill, Keith owned and operated Pennridge Aviation. Prior to that, he and his brother, Gunnar, operated Jay Scott Construction. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Perkasie. He was also a member of the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Assn. Surviving are children: Tracy Ferguson, and her husband, Jim, of Macungie; Kerri Wilcox, and her husband, Brian, of Allentown; Scott Overberg, and his wife Ivanka, of Wiesbaden, Germany; and Michael Overberg, at home; siblings: Carl Overberg, of Gloucester, MA; Dana Overberg, and his wife, Priscilla, Gunnar Overberg, and his wife, Linda, and Cindy Overberg, all of Beverly, MA; and 3 grandsons: Andrew Ferguson; and Kevin and Kyle Wilcox. Services: A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, March 9 at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 19 S. Fifth Street, Perkasie, PA. Interment will be private.
