Kathryn Miller

Kathryn J. Miller, 82, of Red Hill and formerly of Quakertown, PA and Renovo, PA died May 7, 2007, in her home surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Francis Mader who died in 1970 and Walter “Shorty” Miller who died in 2002. Born in Renovo, PA, she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Kathryn (Frederickson) Barrows. She was an assembler for the former Philco-Ford Co. in Lansdale for over 25 years. She attended Swamp Mennonite Church in Quakertown. She is survived by two sons, Robert F. Mader Sr, of Quakertown, and Glen Esler of Cornwall, PA; brothers: Glen Barrows of Taylor, Texas; Frank Barrows of Savannah, GA; Wayne Barrows, of New Holland, PA; and Stanton Barrows of Spinnerstown, PA; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by sisters Wilma R. Barrows, and Phyllis V. Funk; and brothers Bruce Barrows, Sidney Barrows, and John Barrows. Services will be held on Friday, May 11, at 10:00 a.m. at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 163 Main St., Pennsburg, PA. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 7- 8:30 at the funeral home and the casket will remain opened until the conclusion of the service on Friday. Interment will follow in North Bend Cemetery, North Bend, PA.
