Kathryn M. Connell

Kathryn “Kitty” Connell, 89, of Hellertown, passed away October 29, 2019. She was the widow of James Connell. Born in Slatington, she was a daughter of the late John & Mary Verna (Bachouchin) Turiocy. Kitty was a 1947 graduate of Hellertown High School. She began her career as a waitress at the former Town Tavern and the former Ortwein’s, both in Hellertown. She was then employed for 20 years as a seamstress at the former Casco, in Hellertown. Kitty was a member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Hellertown.

Surviving are sons: James, of Catasauqua; and Dennis, of Bethlehem; and nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, John; and brothers, Charles, Joseph & John Turiocy.
