Kathrine Kerver

Kathrine G. Kerver, 84, of Elkland Twp., Sullivan County, died Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Williamsport Regional Medical Center, Williamsport. Born September 8, 1931 in Ridge Valley, she was a daughter of the late Rhine D. and Lizzie (Garges) Nace. She and her husband, Franklin D. Kerver, would have celebrated 30 years marriage on August 2, 2016. Kathrine was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an active member of the Millview Wesleyan Church and the Millview Missionary Society. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are seven children: Charles F. (Sandra) Roth of East Greenville, Donald R. Jr. (Stephanie) Roth, of Reading, Robert L. Roth of Coplay, Jeffrey A. Roth of Red Hill, Michael S. (Diane) Kerver of Franconia, Betty Lou (Terry) Fulmer of Orlando, FL, and Beth Ann (Dean) Bieber of Daytona, FL; a sister, Arlene G. (Robert) Kulp of Telford; 21 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Kathrine was preceded in death by her first husband of 21 years, Donald R. Roth; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister; and two brothers. A service was held on Thursday, April 7, at McCarty-Thomas Funeral Home in Dushore. There will also be a service on Friday, April 8 at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg with Vicar Leah Woehr-Grande of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Red Hill officiating. Burial will be in the church Cemetery. Friends may call from 1 to 2 pm Friday at the funeral home.
