Kalman N. Franko, Jr., 87, of Hellertown, died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family. Kalman was the beloved husband of the late Gladys (Fraley) Franko who passed away in December, 2005. Born in Budapest, Hungary, he was a son of the late Kalman and Theresa (Locser) Franko. Kalman taught drafting at the Mayo Vo-Tech in Johnson County, KY, retiring in 1988. Prior to that he was a structural steel draftsman with the former Bethlehem Steel and US Steel. Kalman and his wife loved to dance. Survivors: Sons: Glenn and his wife, Desiree, of Bay Village, Ohio; and Kelvin and his wife, Effie, of Fountain Hill; and grandchildren, Alexander, Kalen, Kalman III, Keenen, Nichole and Shelton; and great granddaughter Kelly Ann.
