Julia Sullivan

Julia Sullivan, 96, of Hellertown, passed away November 13, 2017. She was the widow of Burr Francis Sullivan. Born in Mateszalka, Hungary, she was a daughter of the late Julius and Mary (Szerdi) Kadar. As a young woman, Julia was a sales clerk for the former A&S Department Store of New York City. She was a member of Lower Saucon UCC, where she was very active in many groups before becoming infirm. She was also active in several Senior groups in the Hellertown area, and a member of the Hellertown Historical Society, the Hellertown Library, and the Saucon Valley Community Center. Surviving is a sister, Mary, wife of George Warfield, of Syracuse, NY; nieces: Susan Crittenden, of Boulder, CO; Janet Nadolny, of Fairfield, CT; and Patricia Kadar, and nephew, Steven Kadar, both of Richmond, VA. She was pre-deceased by her son, Michael, and her brother, Stephen. Funeral Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown, is in charge of arrangements.
