Julia Schelero

Julia Schelero, 94, of Palmer Township died,Wednesday, November 2, 2011. She was the widow of Anthony Schelero, Sr. who died December 7, 1985. Born in Martins Creek, she was a daughter of the late Guiseppe and Perina (Filioni) Scarpantonio. She was employed for many years as a seamstress. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church in Easton. Julia is survived by a son, Anthony and his wife Nancy; a daughter Carole wife of Greg Bilotta; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers: Pasquale, Renaldo, Howard, Stanley, Raymond and Matthew and sisters: Ella Massetti, Van Hontz, Eda Fioretti, Mary Seiple and Leila Huston. Graveside services will be held privately. Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave, Easton PA 18045.
