Judith Crehen

“Live! Yes Live! Life's a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!” Judith A. Crehen, 77, of Red Hill, passed away suddenly on December 7, 2019. She was the wife of Warren B. Greenwalt. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Virginia (McCann) Schuster. Judy attended Cardinal Dougherty high school. As a young woman, Judy loved dancing on American Bandstand. She personally knew Dick Clark and met many of the music stars of the day. In the early 1960s, Judy also volunteered for the USO, caring for those who served our country. She also owned and operated Oscar’s Niche, a pet store at the former Zern’s Market. Prior to her retirement, Judy worked as a receptionist for Dr. Zemel in Perkasie, for 30 years. Judy was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Barto, PA. Judy lived a full life, and those who knew her loved her for her free spirit! Judy was very artistic. She loved to paint in her early years and had hoped to write a book one day. She had a kind heart. She was eccentric, and full of love and laughter. She loved horses, and all of her animals. She also had a good sense of adventure. One of her favorite mantras was from her favorite movie, Auntie Mame (1958) with Live! Yes Live! Life's a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death!” Judy is survived by her sons: Robert Crehen (Broomall) and Patrick Crehen (Downingtown); her loving sister, Roberta J. Hartley ( Glenside); her nieces and nephews: Jerry Hartley (Abington), John Hartley (Oreland), Karen Hartley (Lancaster), William Hartley (Abington), Kathleen and Matthew Bilyk (nee Hartley) (Barto), James Hartley (San Diego); She also leaves behind her loving grand-nieces, Kataryna, Aly, and Abigail and grand-nephews, Ryan and Stevie.
