Judith (Wilder) Bryant, 80, of Easton, pasted away August 9, 2021. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Eloise (Helphers) Wilder. Judith received her bachelor’s degree from University of Delaware, and her master’s degree in Library Science from the University of Texas-Austin. She then served in the Peace Corps in Iran, setting up libraries across the country. While there, she was able to travel extensively to India, Greece, and around Europe. She took her son with her on many of these adventures. She spent 30 years at the Jersey City Public Library, always working in the children’s room. She spent those years, being an advocate for children and serving as surrogate for 100’s of children’s parents in the afternoon. During her last 20 years she continued to advocate for children and worked part time as a teacher for kids in Day cares in Stroudsburg. Her lifelong love of education lead her to sign up to go to Baylor University in her 80th year. She was lover of all kinds of music. Her hobbies were crafting, drawing, and coloring. Especially she was a lover of books and would read at least 10 books a weekend. Books and music were something she imparted and passed along to several generations of children. Her love for people was unconditional but she would be the one to tell you if you were on the wrong. Honesty and Love were two things she certainly imparted upon everyone in which she crossed paths. Surviving is her son, Sean Bryant, and his wife, Cindy, of Easton; and her brother, Richard Wilder, of Towson, MD. Services will be announced at a later date. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory have been entrusted with her arrangements. To offer condolences, please visit her “Book of Memories” at falkfuneralhomes.com.
