Josephine S. DeLong, 78, formerly of Lebanon, died December 1, 2009 at Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon. She was the widow of Robert E. DeLong Sr. Born and raised in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Sophie (Tyrpin) Warliga. Surviving: 4 sons, Robert, and his wife, Brenda, of East Greenville; Kenneth, of Blandon; Daniel, of Hamburg, and Michael, and his wife, Christine, of Pottsville; 3 daughters, Joanne, wife of Diko Velieff, of Buffalo, NY; Bernice, widow of Larry Kreiser, of Bethel, and Sandra DeLong, of Painsville, Ohio; 2 brothers, Michael Warliga, of Eagleville; and John Tyrpin, of Fredricksburg, PA; a sister, Laura Keckly, of Collegeville; 28 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Deborah Ann DeLong; sisters, Stella McGuigan, Carolyn Wolfrom, Della DelMauro, Anna Armstrong, Florence Bodek, and Mary Warliga; and brothers, Frank Warliga, and Edward, Stanley, and Joseph Tyrpin. Services: Mass at 10 AM on Monday, December 7 at St. Eleanor’s Catholic Church, Collegeville. No calling hours. Interment will follow at Limerick Garden of Memories.
