Josephine Buck (Giambra)

Josephine Buck, 86, passed away on June 23, 2024. Born and raised in Passaic, NJ, she spent the last 40 years in Pennsylvania, lastly Pine Grove. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Shea) Giambra. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Melvyn Buck. Josie was the beloved sister of Anthony “Sonny” Giambra (wife Christine) and William “Billy” Giambra (wife Karen), and Genevieve Scordato (deceased).

She will be remembered as a loving wife, sister and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She had a passion for cooking Italian dishes and had a keen eye for collecting antiques of all kinds, filling her home with her “treasures”. She will also be remembered for crocheting blankets or scarves and spending time on the lawn mower and gardening.

Mommy will be remembered as a devoted mother to her children Josephine Longo (husband Domenick), Carolyn Buck-Kaminsky (husband Kenneth Powell), Michael Buck (wife Laura), Robert Buck (wife Jill) and Janet Buck (deceased). Her family meant everything to her; she poured all her love into nurturing them throughout their lives. She was so proud to pass down many delicious recipes that we all cook. Lasagna, cheesecake or stuffed mushrooms anyone?

She is also remembered as Nanny to her grandchildren Sharay Buck Wegrezyn (Matthew), Ian Buck (Stacey), Domenick Longo III (Stacey), Jonathan Longo, Marc Kaminsky (fiancée Amanda), Julia Buck, Logan Buck, Ryan Longo, Joel Buck, Dana Smith Panyanouvong (deceased) and great-grandchildren Rheanna, Gabriel, Cameron, Emilie, Domenick Scott, Tobias and Lorenzo. She enjoyed telling them “Knock-Knock” jokes, eating dinners with them, getting their calls and having visits.
