Josephine Britland

Josephine Ann “JoAnn” Britland, 76, of Freemansburg, passed away September 24, 2020. Born in Newark, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Santucci. For the majority of her life, JoAnn resided in Dunellen, NJ, among close family and long-time friends. In addition to owning a small tree nursery, JoAnn also worked for many years at Fiddler’s Elbow Country Club in Bedminster, NJ. She went on to manage, then own Café 2000 Corporate Cafeteria and Catering out of Somerville, NJ. She was extremely creative, enjoying family holidays, dancing, fishing and watching a wide array of sports. Her favorite entertainment, was the music of Judy Garland. She is best remembered for her sense of humor, honesty and strength of will. Surviving are children: Jeff Britland, of Hellertown ; Justine Britland, of Easton; and Jason Britland, of Greencastle; a sister: Christine Britland, of Dunellen, NJ; grandchildren: Ian, Emily, Molly, and Brayden; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. She was pre-deceased by siblings: Carmen “Sonny’ Santucci, and Linda Ferreri. Memorial Services will be private.
