Joseph F. Schrader Jr., 87, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne “Jinka” (Doddy) Schrader. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Joseph F. Schrader Sr., and Hypatia (Kuntzman) Schrader. Joe served his country honorably in the Navy during WW II and was a Plank Owner of the USS Leyte. He was a 1951 graduate of Moravian College, received his Masters degree from Lehigh University and did his doctorate studies at Temple University. He was the School Psychologist and Director of Student Services for the Pennsbury School District in Fallsington until his retirement in 1989. Survivors: his wife; two daughters: Cynthia, of Hellertown, and Wendy-Jo, of Glendale, CA; two sons Robert, of Barnegat, NJ, and Joseph F. “J” III, of Bethlehem; thirteen grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. Services: Remembrance Service, Saturday, January 24, 2015 11 am at the Falk Funeral Home, 1418 Main St., Hellertown where all are invited to gather from 10:30 am. Interment will be in Washington’s Crossing National Cemetery at 1 pm on April 24, 2015.
