Joseph Michael Howley, died peacefully on the evening of November 17, 2015, at the age of 92. Joseph grew up in Newark, NJ and was the second youngest of six children. He served in the Navy during World War II and worked at the Westing House and his brother-in-law's gas station, Peeler's Texaco in West Caldwell, NJ after serving his country. Eventually, Joseph and his wife moved to Cedar Grove, NJ with their only daughter, Jodi. He was a dedicated, hardworking man who always provided for his family. Survivors: wife, Doris (Raab) Howley; daughter; Jodi Amorese; and grand-daughters: Jessica Wallace and Bethany Spangenberg. Joseph has donated his body to Humanity Gifts Registry in Philadelphia for medical research. He was a strong man who was loved dearly and will be missed.
