Joseph Hermanovitch, 97, of Bangor, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2013. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Giguere) Hermanovitch. Born in Taylor, PA, he was a son of the late Samuel and Kathryn (Karbownichek) Hermanovitch. He served his country honorably in the Army during WWII. Following his service, he was a high speed roller grinder for the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. in Bethlehem. He was a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Bethlehem. Survivors: step son: Earl Alcott and his wife Patti of Hatfield; step daughter, Lillian Carlen of Wind Gap, PA; a brother: John and his wife Shirley of Upper Macungie; grandchildren: Butch, Joe, Mike, Cherle, Laurie Tanya Jo, Coleen, and Michele; eleven great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Joseph and a brother Stephen. Services: 10 a.m., Saturday, at the Falk Funeral Home, 1418 Main St, Hellertown.
