Joseph Banyas

Joseph M. Banyas, 68 of Royersford, entered eternal rest on March 30, 2010. He was the beloved husband of Cathleen (Gallagher) Banyas. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late J. Frank and Anna E. (Virus) Banyas. Joseph received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Villanova and an MBA from Widener University. Following his education, he served in the Army Reserves attaining the rank of Lieutenant. He was the Director of Warehouse Operations for Premier Dental Products Co. in Norristown and retired in 1999. Surviving with his wife is his brother in law, Francis J. Gallagher. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Klinerd Rd., Pennsburg, with viewing from 9:30 – 10:45 at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in his memory to St. Mary's Franciscan Shelter, 209 Emmett Street, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania 19460.
