Jose Guerrero

Jose “Joe” E. Guerrero, 54, divorced, of Allentown, departed with the Lord at peace at home, surrounded by his mother, brother and two sisters, after a painful battle with Cancer on September 6, 2019. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he was son of Jose R. Guerrero and Casimira (Mercedes) Guerrero. Jose was a member of the church Casa del Rey Jesús, in Allentown, PA, and was a radio announcer for most of his career. Jose’s passion was preaching the Gospel, and for everyone to know Jesus and be safe. His legacy of preaching the gospel out on the streets will live on through an evangelistic program at Casa del Rey Jesús. This program, named after Jose, will continue his legacy by bringing the word of the gospel for all to hear. Surviving along with his parents, Jose R. and Casimira Guerrero, are children: Jazmin Guerrero and Angie Guerrero; siblings: Luis Guerrero, Freddy Guerrero, Myriam (Guerrero) Bedinghaus, Maribel Guerrero, Jorhan Guerrero, and Ketty Guerrero; a grandchild: Angel; as well as many nieces and nephews. No flowers, gifts or donations needed. Services will be held privately. Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Hellertown, is in charge of arrangements.
