John Urogi

John "Yanchi" Urogi, 92, of Hellertown, passed away on Wednesday May 20th, 2026. He was the beloved husband of his late wife, Lillie (DeLeon) Urogi. Born in Papakovacki, Hungary, he was the son of the late Janos and Maria (Horvath) Urogi. John worked for Lehigh Structural Steel for 20 years and the NJ Carpenters Union for 6-8 years. He was a member of the Lower Saucon Sportsman Club, Hellertown Democratic Club, Fearless Fire Company, Allentown & Dewey Fire Company, Hellertown Legion, and the Magyar Taya Sports Club in Hereford.

He is survived by his children: Rita, wife of Daniel Cabrisas of Hollywood, FL, John E. Urogi of Alaska; grandchildren: Morgan, Ezequiel, and Zachary Urogi, and Mariska Cabrisas; his sister Vilma Miskolczi. He was predeceased by his brothers: Karoly and Gyula Urogi.

All are invited to a viewing from 8:30-9:30 am on Wednesday May 27 at Connell Falk Funeral Homes 1418 Main St Hellertown, PA 18055. Mass will take place at 10am at Holy Infancy Church, 312 E 4th St, Bethlehem, PA 18015. Interment will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
