John C. Turn, 87, of Kempton, died October 21, 2010. He was the husband of the late Anne (Illingworth) Turn who died in 2008. Born in Bushkill, PA, he was a son of the late Ralph G. and Mary (Wallace) Turn. John was a self employed livestock farmer in Kempton. He served his country honorably in the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Kempton Rod & Gun Club. Survivors: Sons, John Jr. and his wife Mary Ann of California, and Scott and his wife Lisa of Hawaii; Daughters, Mary wife of Wayne Swanger of Clarion, PA, Anne wife of Michael Fry of Hellertown, PA, and Meg, wife of Blair Long, of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Jessica and Kate Fry, and Neal and Luke Swanger. He was predeceased by brothers, Charles and Ralph, and a sister Helen DeRenzis. Services: At John’s request, there will be no services.
