John Mcpherson

John W. McPherson, 86, of Schwenksville, and formerly of Buckingham, PA and North Brunswick, NJ, passed away January 4, 2014. He was the beloved husband of Pauline (Knoth) McPherson. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he was a son of the late John and Ann (Riely) McPherson. John was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion. He was a truck driver for Jersey Paper Co. before retiring in 1984 and belonged to the Teamsters, local 701. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and playing bingo. He was a former volunteer with the North Brunswick Rescue Squad. Surviving with his wife, are children: John, of Monmouth Junction NJ; Janet, wife of Richard Cammerata, of Coopersburg, PA; Linda Yandolino, of Long Neck, DE; and David, and his wife, Anna, of Trevose, PA; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by siblings: Anna Widman and Joseph McPherson. Services will be private. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
