John Lancsek

John J. Lancsek, 83, formerly of Hellertown, died January 7, 2012. He was the husband of the late Gizella (Kardos) Lanscek. He served his country honorably during WWII. He was an electrician at the former Bethlehem Steel. He was a member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church, Bethlehem. Surviving is daughter-in-law, Susan, of Bethlehem; siblings: Steven Lancsek, and his wife, Rose, of Allentown; Eleanor, wife of Nicholas Perrett, of Fountain Hill, and Esther Weightneckt, of Bethlehem; granddaughters: Dayna and Krysta Lanscek; and long-time companion, Erma Nagy. He was pre-deceased by his children: Gary S. Lancsek, and Kim Lancsek-Ruppert. Services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main St., Hellertown. A viewing will be from 10-11 AM. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Hellertown.
