John Elmer Heffner

John Elmer Heffner, 81, of Barto passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 3rd, 2023. He was the husband of Sarah (Wolfgang) Heffner. Born in Hereford Township, he was a son of the late Elmer and Jennie (Hunter) Heffner. John was a dairy farmer and lived and worked on his farm on Route 100 in Barto.

Along with his wife and dog Sandy, he is survived by his sister: Arlene Rothenberger. He was predeceased by his brothers Melvin and Earl, and sisters Myrl Heffner and Elva Bechtel.

Services will be held privately.
