John David Granneman, 70, of Pennsburg, passed away peacefully at home with his wife and son by his side on April 16, 2026. Born on March 14, 1956, in Covington, KY, John was the son of the late Charles and Virginia (Hassert) Granneman. He was the loving husband of Nanette (French) Granneman, sharing 35 years of marriage. 

John proudly served his country in the United States Navy, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him a lifelong commitment to service. He earned his master's degree in business administration, which he leveraged to build a successful career as an accountant.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, John was a 32nd-degree Mason in Kentucky, where he exemplified the values of brotherhood, charity, and integrity. In his leisure time, he enjoyed mountain biking and kayaking, reveling in the beauty of nature and the adventures it offered.

Along with his wife, John is survived by his children, Avin Granneman, Christopher (Ashli) Granneman, Jordan Granneman, Melissa (Louis) Helverson, Heather (Justin) Harrison, and Sarah (Justin) O'Donnel; and his grandchildren, Tyler and Amelia Granneman, Hunner and Warren Helverson, Sophia O'Donnel and Halle Harrison.
