John Edwards

John F. Edwards, 66, of Green House Lane, Barto, PA, died February 25, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Nancy L. (Ubertaccio) Edwards. Born in Franklin, NJ, he was the son of the late Francis P. and Florence Mae (Hall) Edwards. He was a Quality Control Engineer for Bechtel Construction, currently working at the Turkey Point Power Plant, Homestead, FL. He served his country honorably in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Community Fire Co., #1 of Seisholtzville, and was an avid member of the Pottstown Area Amatuer Radio Club (PAARC), K3ZMC Repeater. John's call letters were N3DLQ. Surviving: with his wife; is a son, Sean P. Edwards, of Barto; a daughter, Nicole, wife of Robert D. Andre, of Allentown, PA; a sister, Bonnie, wife of Lewis Watters, of Chester, VT; grandsons: Gage Andre and Robert McCafferty-Andre; an aunt, Stella Truran of Hamburg, NJ; and cousins: Bill, of Hamburg, NJ, and Robert, of Sunrise, FL; and many nieces & nephews. Services: will be on Friday at 12 PM at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg. A viewing will be from 10 AM to services. Interment will be at Most Blessed Sacrament Cemetery, Bally, PA.
