John Cahill

John F. Cahill, 80, of Red Hill, passed away with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Catherine (Davis) Cahill. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son to the late Daniel and Charlotte (Landis) Cahill. John served our country honorably in the Navy. He was an avid golfer, and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic. Along with his wife, he is survived by his children: John F. Jr. of Pennsburg, Daniel and his wife Lisa of Mount Laurel, NJ, and Janet Cahill-Trievel and her husband Terry of Boyertown, his grandchildren: Cory, Amanda, Kris, Brooke and Frank; great grandchildren: Hailey and Logan; his siblings: Esther, wife of Anthony DiPietro of Pottstown, Daniel, and his wife Judy of Huntington Valley, and Cathy, wife of Michael Steinhart of Philadelphia. A memorial mass will be Friday, September 27, 2019, 11 am at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, 1325 Klinerd Rd, Pennsburg, PA 18073. Family and friends are welcome to gather beginning at 10am.
