John Evans Bold

John Evans “Jack” Bold, Jr., 83, of Independence Court, Quakertown, and formerly of Palm, passed away April 26, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Evelyn (Phillips) Oshman Bold. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late John E. Bold Sr. and the late Catherine (Bechtel) Bold. Jack was a machine operator for C&D Technology in Conshohocken for 28 years. He was a member of the Palm Schwenkfelder Church, where he was a former choir member. Jack served in the Marines during peacetime. Jack loved telling stories of all his life experiences to his friends and family and brought joy and laughter along wherever he went. Surviving with his wife; is a daughter, Kari Smith, of Germansville; grandchildren: Chantell, Cyeira, Andrea, Danielle, and Rick Jr; great-grandchildren: Tre, Elliot, Rayna, Savien, Kasen, and Teagan; and a sister: Shirley, wife of Alton Lehr, of Schnecksville.
