Joanie Fettig

Joanie (Siegele) Fettig, 85, of Pennsburg passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29th, 2022. She was the wife of the late Richard Fettig. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Dorothy Siegele. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg and a former member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Sellersville. She was very active in the church where, as a catechist, she taught CCD (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine) classes, volunteered in the church rectory, was a liturgist, a sacristan during daily Mass and for funeral Masses, and she was an usher. She was also a cantor and sang in the choir at both St. Agnes and St. Philip Neri.

Joanie is survived by a daughter, Kimberly A. Fettig of Augusta, GA, and half-brothers, Fred and Van Siegele; and her granddaughter: Savannah Fettig.

All are invited to gather at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church 1325 Klinerd Road, Pennsburg, PA 18073 from 10:30 until a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am, on Friday, September 2, 2022. She will be laid to rest privately with her husband Richard in Holy Cross Cemetery in Pennsburg.
