Joan Yerger

Joan Helen Yerger (Fretz) 67, of Bethlehem passed away on May 20th 2010. She was the beloved wife of Earl Martin Yerger. They would have celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary this July. Born in Allentown, Joan worked in the garment industry for more than 20 years. She also work for fourteen years as a crossing guard for the Bethlehem Area School District, and was an active member of the Grover Cleveland Democratic Association in Bethlehem, where she contributed her time and energy in a great many ways. Survivors: In addition to her devoted husband Earl, Daughters Tracy Snyder and partner Joanne Parson of Laconia, NH; and Christine Szutar and husband Christopher of Northampton; Sons Gino Olivero of Allentown, Nick Snyder and wife Mindy, of Allentown, Jess Yerger and wife Colleen, of Bethlehem, PA; and grand children Whitney, Stephanie and Lucas, and great grand daughter Taylor.
