Joan Souder

Joan Alice Souder, 85, of Frederick Living and formerly of Horsham, passed away February 27, 2018. She was the widow of William Souder III, who passed in 1993. The youngest of ten children, she was born in Philadelphia to the late Thomas & Anna Mae Keenan. Joan was a former member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Warrington. She was a hair colorist for Adolf Biecker/Jean Madeleine, Philadelphia for over 50 years. Joan's greatest joy was spending time with her family. Surviving are children: William Souder IV, and his wife Victoria, of North Wales; Thomas Souder, and his wife, Julie Curran, of Warrington; and Madeleine, wife of William Maximuck, of Pennsburg; grandchildren: Lauren, William, James, Samantha, Jennifer, Erika, and Jake; and great-grandchildren: Charlotte & Hudson. Funeral Services will be at 11 AM Saturday in the Chapel at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002. A viewing will be from 10-11 AM at the chapel. Interment will follow.
