Joan Marie Nace

Joan Marie (Eliff) Nace, 85, of Pennsburg passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29th, 2023. She was the wife of the late Donald L. Nace who passed away in 2015. Born in Norristown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (McGough) Eliff. She was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Pennsburg.

Joan is survived by her son, Daniel Nace and his partner Susan Davis of Philadelphia, and her daughters: Eileen Singer and her husband Brian of Pennsburg, and Patricia Mathias of Barto; her grandchildren: Angela Nace and her husband Kenneth Luu, Stephanie Mathias and her fiancé Michael Lytle, and Kevin Nace; her great grandchildren: Jayden, Zoë, and Alexander; and her siblings: Maryanne (John) Buddy, Joseph D. (Norma) Eliff, Jr., Rose Marie (Robert) Plower and Terry (Loree) Eliff. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Todd Mathias, and her sister, Kathleen Eliff Rummel.

All are invited to gather from 10 – 11 am on Wednesday, January 10th in the Chapel of Limerick Garden of Memories, with a Celebration of her Life at 11 am. Her prayers will be offered by Fr. Anthony Hangholt, pastor of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. In honor of Joan’s proud Irish heritage, the family requests you wear green.
