Jill Mormon

March 10, 1981 — February 24, 2018

Jill Melissa Mormon passed away on February 24, 2018 at her home in Red Hill, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her mother, Joan; her father, Tom; her sister, Jodi; and her maternal grandmother, Leora Feick. Jill received a Bachelor’s Degree from Mary Baldwin College in Virginia, and a Master’s of Science in Education from Bay Path University in Massachusetts. Jill was as beautiful a person on the inside as she was on the outside. Her heart was open to all she came in contact with, but she had a very special place for children, active duty and veterans of our armed forces and, above all else, anyone in need of a helping hand. She will always be remembered for her compassion for those who needed it the most. Jill loved children, rescue dogs, fishing, The Rolling Stones, her close friends, raspberries, and the color purple. Above all else, she loved her family. In lieu of flowers, please reach out a to someone you may know to be suffering from depression, mental illness or addiction. Jill's family is having a Memorial to honor Jill and the amazing woman that she was. It will be held at the Pavilion at Green Lane Park (follow signs to the Park office) on Sunday, July 29th from 2:00 p.m. to dusk. Feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket to enjoy the outdoors. We invite all who would like to attend and if you have a picture, story, or memory to share, please do. Of course, all children are most welcome as we all know Jill's love for the children in her life was her greatest joy. For those that were lucky enough to be a part of Jill's life, you know that she had a heart of gold and her love was unconditional, true and pure. We hope to see many familiar faces that day and I know that Jill will be present in spirit and feel the love of those that meant the most to her. ~ Wild, wild horses…we’ll ride them someday~
