Jeanne Margaret Schrader

October 21, 1928 — January 19, 2024

Jeanne “Jinka” Schrader, 95, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved

family on January 19, 2024. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Francis J. Doddy

Jr. and Evelyn (Betge) Doddy. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph F. Schrader Jr.. Jeanne

was an imaginative, creative and inspiring mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, aunt and sister. Jeanne was known in the art world as “Jinka” and was an accomplished artist and an award winning sculptor.

She is survived by her four children: Cynthia Schrader Slater of Hellertown, Robert J. Schrader

of Barnegat, NJ, Wendy Schrader Lethin of Sunriver, OR and Joseph F. Schrader III of Chalfont,

PA; thirteen grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and a sister, Judith Ruth of Minnesota. She

was predeceased by her siblings, Francis, Thomas, Phillip and Justina Doddy.

Jeanne will be laid to rest with her husband in Washington Crossing National Cemetery at a later

date.
