Jean Steich

January 14, 1930 — December 30, 2014

Jean E. Steich, 84, of Sellersville, passed away December 30, 2014. She was the companion of Frank C. Brown for the past 20 years, and the widow of Edward Steich Sr. Born in Pennsburg, she was a daughter of the late Ralph & Eva (Kratzer) Butterweck. Jean was a sewing machine operator for the former Imrod Pants Factory in Quakertown. After that, she was a cashier for Lauren’s Bread & Rolls for over 10 years at the Quakertown Farmer’s Market. Jean was a member of Pennsburg United Church of Christ and the Auxiliary of the American Legion, Sellersville. Surviving with her companion is a nephew, Terry Butterweck, of Pennsburg. She was pre-deceased by a step-son, Edward Jr., and a brother, Leon Butterweck. Services will be 10 AM on Friday at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. A viewing will be from 9-10 AM.
