Jean Emily Mindler, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away July 15, 2020. She was the widow of Horace LeRoy “Whitey” Mindler. Born in Lower Saucon Township, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Bowman) LaBar. Jean was a cafeteria cook at the Farmersville Elementary School for many years. She was a member of the United Church of Christ. After her husband retired, they enjoyed going on numerous bus trips. She was an avid reader and enjoyed puzzle books and playing games on her Kindle. Surviving are children: Scott Mindler, of Blakeslee; Linda, wife of Edward Yenolevich, of Bethlehem Township; and Karen, wife of Thomas Baker, of Chatham, VA; grandchildren: Kevin, Ashley, Alison & Krista; and great-grandchildren: Onsley, Lexie, Quinn, Jackson, Bradyn, Emily & Leo. She was pre-deceased by all her siblings: Luther, Douglas, Lucinda, Granville, Vanna, Arlene, and John. Due to the pandemic, a Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Christ Church UCC, 75 E. Market Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
