On April 30th, 2016, our wonderful mother, Jean B. (Cassler) Gentry, 82, of Red Hill, went home to be with the Lord and her beloved husband, James O. Gentry. She passed away at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. Born in Chester, she was the daughter of the late Stewart and Sarah (McCormick) Cassler. Jean loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. Her love and caring will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She especially enjoyed being a homemaker and working in her flower gardens. Jean was a member of the Palm Schwenkfelder Church for 55 years. She was an active member of the Ladies Aid Society, helping out with making chow-chow and the Fall Festival. Surviving are daughters: Wanda Gentry, of Perkiomenville; Sarah Gentry, of Red Hill; and Deborah Gentry, of Pottstown, Grandchildren: Harry & Christina Wolfe; Heather, Kimberly & Stephanie Pennington; Jaime & Ronald Reazor; and Shawn Zeleznick; 23 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a daughter: Wilma (Gentry) Kordish. Services will be 11AM on Friday at the Palm Schwenkfelder Church, 833 Gravel Pike, Palm. A viewing will be from 9:30-11AM at the church. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. The Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pennsburg, is in charge of arrangements.
