Jared James Kappes

Jared James Kappes (40) of Allentown, went home to be with the Lord on April 21, 2023. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Scott and Terry (Moyer) Kappes of Stroud Twnshp., Pa. Jared was an honors graduate of Penn State University in 2004, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations. Jared loved his Lord, loved his family - especially his daughter Kaylee. He was a compassionate and caring person who loved to serve people and make people laugh. He was an avid Philadephia sports fan, following the Phillies, Eagles, and Sixers. One of his joys was to attend games in Philly with his Pops, brothers, and friends.

Along with his parents, Scott & Terry, he is survived by his daughter Kaylee Kappes and former wife Jessica of South Whitehall; Brother Joshua and wife Jenna of Newton, NC; Jeremy and wife Jennifer of Lower Macungie; Nieces and nephews Katelyn, Samuel, Mackenzie, Corbin, Quinton and Bailey.

Services will be held at Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, 1151 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. Allentown Pa. on Thursday, April 27th at 6pm. In lieu of calling hours, a time of fellowship and refreshments will follow in the church’s activity center.
