Jane Ann Wolf

December 28, 1948 — July 5, 2023

Jane Ann (Hagenbuch) Wolf, 74, of East Greenville passed away on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023. David Wolf was her husband. Born at Grandview Hospital, in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late John and Dorothy (Reiss) Hagenbuch of Pennsburg.

Jane worked for the former Red Hill Savings & Loan and then for the Resolution Trust Corporation (RTC), to help resolve the savings and loan crisis. Once that work was finished, she joined Davita Kidney Care for several years, working in the compliance department. As were her parents before her, Jane was an active member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pennsburg. There, she taught Sunday School and, for years, designed the Chrismon ornaments that would adorn the church’s Christmas tree and be gifted to the congregation’s children. In their early lives, she and her husband were very involved in the men’s and women’s clubs of the former Upper Perkiomen Valley Jaycees, organizing picnics, parades and other community events.

More than anything, Jane enjoyed spending time with family, friends and community groups. She was an avid reader of murder mysteries, lover of cinema and kind human being. At the time of her death, she was the president of her local WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America) group.

Along with her husband, Jane is survived by her daughters, Suzanne Burns of Fleetwood, PA, and Lauren Wolf and her husband, Ron Schwenn, of Vienna, VA. In addition, she leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Rachel and Mason Burns. Jane is also survived by her brother James Hagenbuch and his wife Janice of Pennsburg.

All are invited to gather with Jane’s family for a viewing from 10 – 11 am on Tuesday, July 11, at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main St, Pennsburg. A Celebration of her life will be officiated by Rev. Paul Bartlett at 11 am. She will be laid to rest beside her parents in St. Mark’s Lutheran Cemetery in Pennsburg.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested in her memory to the Open Link 452 Penn St., Pennsburg, PA 18073, theopenlink.org. Visit her "Book of Memories" at falkfuneralhomes.com.
