Jane Bean

Jane Bean, 84, of Hellertown, passed away in her home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Born in Easton on December 20, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Ethel (Lilly) and William Bryfogle. She was the loving wife of Andrew G. Bean.

Jane earned her master's degree in education and had a fulfilling career as a kindergarten teacher at the Pen Ryn School. Jane and Andrew met at Penn State University and have been together ever since, building a beautiful family and life together. She enjoyed baking, especially for her grandchildren and volunteered countless hours reading children's books to children at various schools and children's organizations.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Andrew G. Bean; sons, Eric Bean and his wife, Colleen Cahill and David Bean and his wife, Andrea Bean; brother, Richard Bryfogle; and 4 grandchildren.

Services will be held privately. Arrangements have been entrusted to Connell Falk Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc.
